Echoing of Input Sequence is Generally Recommended

The process of analyzing a sequence over the Web typically involves cutting and pasting of sequence between client applications and a Web browser, passing through the browser, an HTTP server and on to a CGI-BIN program, processing with the READSEQ program for sequence format detection and conversion, and finally being passed on to the analysis program. With so many steps along the way, we recommend that you select option to echo the processed input sequence as a means of verifying that the processed sequence was indeed the sequence you thought you submitted. Obviously for long sequence lengths, you'll have to decide whether you want to select this option. In most cases, the analysis will provide the length of the processed input sequence as part of the standard results returned. This may also be used to compare with the length of the submitted sequence.
